Bricchi di Rocca Rossa

Here are the easy routes, really easy, that many climbers look for. The Bricchi ( = small pillars) are three small rocky structures located just to the right of the Rocca Rossa. The first pillar, bolted by Gerry Fornaro and Carlo Ballerini in 2009, has somewhat more difficult routes, which already reach grade 6c. The next two pillars, bolted by Fulvio Balbi and Arrampicate.it in 2024, with material provided by Ass. Rocpennavaire, have much easier routes (pitches of grade 5), on articulated structures and bolted very close; ideal for beginners. The Bricchi benefit the same exposure of the Rocca Rossa: sun all day, so great for winter.

Approach

The access is the same of the Rocca Rossa; once at the Rocca Rossa proceed on the path that passes under the cliff, continuing to the right; you immediately meet the first pillar and, continuing still to the right, immediately the other two. Or, from the car park of the Church of Veravo, take the "red line point" path which starts to the left of the church and leads to the Bricchi in about half an hour.
