The Basura (Rocca della Bandia) is right there next to the Colosseo, but, even if it’s in a distance of a few meters, the environment and the rock changes totally: here it is even more bucolic and sunny and the rock is red and even more compact: the crimp is the master, with tufas scattered everywhere. Its routes of 6c / 7a are among the best in the valley in terms of quality; don’t miss Amelia, Melusina and Paracelso 6c, Banshees 7a and Nostradamus 7b.
Approach
From Cisano continue towards Martinetto and turn left entering in Val Pennavaire ; after passing Castelbianco, continue by car for 3.6 km, until you reach the first clear fork on the right: turn then turn right towards "Chiesa- Perati- Casale" and "Cimitero" (road signs), continue until you reach the church and park in the square.
