Ciusa

North-east    5 min. 24 4c ÷ 7b 2015
It is one of the most comfortable summer cliffs to reach. It remains on the shady shore, just in front of the cave of Castelbianco and requires a walk of only 5 min. It is a wall of good limestone, which offers different climbing styles: from the simplest and leaning kind on the right side, to the most overhanging (but not too much), on the left side. It is a small but complete crag, able to satisfy everyone's needs. The right side offers many opportunities for NO BIG. Even if its name is not really attractive, it deserves more than a visit! Don’t’ miss: Transilvania”, “Jurassici”, “Anonima”,“Reef” and “Mutante”.

Approach

From Cisano sul Neva reach Martinetto and turn left, entering the Pennavaire Valley. Past Castelbianco you can park both on the right and on the left of the road. Take the path that descends towards the river and after passing the bridge, leave a deviation to the left and go up a zig zag always to the right, following a small waterway (ciusa) up to the evident crag.
