La Rocca Rossa di Capraunais a long rocky bar pierced by the only tunnel on the SP 216 that leads to the village of Caprauna. The Rocca Rossa has two sectors: one in the part of the bar immediately above the tunnel, the other in the part immediately below the tunnel, called " Cimitero dei camosci ". These are vertical walls of excellent limestone, compact and adherent, which impose a technical and challenging climbing style, like few in the valley. It is a kind of climbing mainly of fingers, on notches and in the upper crag also on holes and little tufas. The routes are all of high quality, don't miss: "Esatto", "Topinambur", "Foglie luminose", "James Gordon Memorial".This crag is another gem for the valley. Both sectors are exposed to the west, then in the shade in the morning, until 2 pm, ideal in the middle seasons; both sectors can be reached in just 5 minutes from the parking lot. The routes were bolted by Paolo Ramò, with material kindly offered by the "Rockstore" store in Finale Ligure. In March 2022, Piero Palmero rearranged some pre-existing routes, located immediately to the right of the tunnel, indicated as "Sotto la strada".
