It is a particular and structured crag, with beautiful rock; it’s particular because it offers very different climbing styles, but close to each other. It is divided into three sectors: the sector on the left, characterized by a strong overhang, which requires work for large muscles and boulder movements: very recommended for lovers of bouldering; the central sector, immediately adjacent, characterized by a technical vertical gray wall, which requires precision of fingers and feet.
Finally, the right sector (the first one you meet, that goes first in the shade, being exposed to the east), characterized by short overhanging walls, even here rather bouldery.
Therefore, the Marvel Area is able to satisfy the tastes of different kinds of climbers, but still of medium-high level, since the easy shots are few.
The environment is pleasant, very comfortable (it seems to be in a living room) and well exposed to the sun, ideal for winter months.
Approach
Reach the village of Alto, enter the village and from the main square turn right towards the cemetery, where you park. Take the path that goes down on the left along the cemetery and reach the wide dirt road that descends to the right, pass the church of St. Sebastian and in a few minutes you get to the base of the crag Corsia. Continue the path on level ground and after about ten meters you will get to the deviation on the right (stone signpost on the right), go up to the right and in a few minutes you are at the base of the RedUp’s wall; from here continue to the left towards the obvious gray wall
