Colosseo

Immediately to the left of Euskal begins the Colosseo crag; it’s a crag beyond the vertical, but more friendly and suitable for everybody, thanks to the presence of several routes on grade 6; Its large holes, its big holds and prehensile tufas allow the most to measure themselves on inclinations of a certain importance, without having the biceps of Gullich. Here the routes have names of the emperors and characters of ancient Rome, it is really quite difficult to remember them, so to give you some help on how to orient yourself in the search for the "best of", we suggest the 7a at the center of the crag, Nerone and Caligula, 7c of Messalina, 6b of Crassus, 6a + of Caracalla and 6a of Orazio.

Approach

From Cisano continue towards Martinetto and turn left entering in Val Pennavaire ; after passing Castelbianco, continue for about 2 km and park on the left in front of a manure factory in a wide open space. Cross the road and take the obvious path that starts on the right and goes up the hairpin bends until you come across a bigger path, which goes right slightly downhill; after about 100 meters go up on the left a short rocky outcrop (stone blocks sign) and in a few minutes you reach the base of Euskal, continue along the path to the left of the Euskal cliff for the Colosseo.
