Terminal

South-east    12 min. 100 5a ÷ 8c  2013
It's the mega spot of the valley, his business card, like the Hollywood Sign for Los Angeles. One of the largest and most evident crags of the Val Pennavaire, with climbing lines up to 40 meters, of any kind: from slab to roof!. Slightly overhanging routes develop on grey and red walls, where often appear beautiful tufas. Terminal is a winter cliff, south facing; a cliff for everybody, don't lose it! It's sub divided on three big sector: Terminal, Settore Pukli e settore Casa dei Nonni.

Approach

The access is the same of many crags of the valley: from the cross of Martinetto, turn left, entering in the Valle Pennavaire and follow the main road for 4,5 km. You can see the crag just in front of you, above the road. After a wide right bend, there is a rectilinear with houses on the right side "da Ferruccio". You can park on this side or in a further just an hundred meters after. Don't park in the private parking spaces, especially on the left side! Two solutions to reach the cliff: 1. From the further follow the path on the right side of the stream, after few meters there is a sign indicating to the left "Acquario" and to the right "Terminal"; continue to the right along some terraces. The path crosses to halfway, taking under the structure that is now visible. 2. Go back to the wide curve mentioned above, start on the left a small path uphill, near a vegetable garden (pay attention to the crops), which in a few minutes connects with the flat part of the path nr. 1.
